The use of polyurethane for welt cord in upholstery applications is strongly discouraged. Even though Burch's polyurethane products are designed to exceed industry abrasion standards, when used with welt cord the exposed material becomes more vulnerable to abrasion and may experience premature de-lamination. Burch Fabrics cannot be held responsible for damage that may occur when used in a welt cord application.
Final determination of the suitability of this product for an application rests with the user.
* Multiple factors affect fabric durability and appearance retention, including end-user application and proper maintenance. Wyzenbeek results above 100,000 double rubs have not been shown to be an indicator of increased lifespan.
** This term and any corresponding data refer to the typical performance in the specific tests indicated and should not be construed to imply the behavior of this or any other material under actual fire conditions.
