Brown is the New Gray:

While gray will always have universal appeal it's stepping aside to let brown lead the way for a bit. The vast diversity of this warm grounding color feels different from its over saturation in the early 00's. The key here is to use a broad spectrum of brown shades in combination with one another. Brown is also the new undertone-du-jour, lending a burnished earthy feel to all colors on the spectrum.
